The attorneys send the Legal News Publication of the Notice to Creditors

The notice gets published with the county’s legal news and the affidavit gets filed with the court.

(After the estate has been published for 4 months and all the necessary documents have been filed the estate can be closed.)  Tip: The personal representative is under a duty to settle and distribute the estate “as expeditiously and efficiently as is consistent with the best interests of the estate” and “except as otherwise specified or ordered in regard to a supervised personal representative, without adjudication, order or direction of the court.”
